Billings Productions, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Larry and Sandra Billings with a mission to educate children about extinction, conservation, and the history of dinosaurs. Starting in a converted warehouse in McKinney, Texas, they built a team and began creating life-like animatronic dinosaurs. This laid the foundation for what would become the largest animatronic dinosaur company in North America.
After Larry’s passing in 2007, Sandra, co-founder and now president, carried on their vision and continued to grow the company. As demand increased, Billings Productions invested in advanced equipment to
streamline production and expand its offerings. In 2018, Lauren Billings
joined as vice president. She brought new energy to the company and
helped launch educational programs for schools.

Today, Billings Productions is an industry leader with animatronics featured
in museums, theme parks, zoos, and aquariums around the world.
