Deinosuchus isn't a dinosaur but an extinct genus related to the alligator that lived among dinosaurs during the Late Cretaceous period.

Although Deinosuchus was far larger than any modern crocodile or alligator, its overall appearance was not considerably different from that of modern crocodilians.
