Our Billings Productions team just spent an amazing week at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) conference. This annual event, which brings together professionals from zoos and aquariums across the country, was nothing short of spectacular. From insightful discussions on conservation to incredible animal encounters, our time in Columbus was an unforgettable experience.
The conference floor was full of activity as we connected with representatives from various zoos and aquariums. It was truly inspiring to see the passion and dedication that these individuals had for the welfare and conservation of animals. We love partnering with such amazing institutions to raise guest attendance and promote the message of conservation!
Our adventure didn't stop at the conference center. Zoo Day is always one of our favorite parts of AZA conferences, and the Columbus Zoo did not disappoint! From a baby elephant to Pallas cats, we loved meeting the animals that make the Columbus Zoo so special.
But what truly stole the show for us was the Dinosaur Island boat ride that features our animatronic dinosaurs!
We love seeing all of the creative ways that our partners theme their dinosaur exhibits, and the Dinosaur Island boat ride was not a disappointment! The view from the boat was green and gorgeous and we loved passing by animal exhibits like the gibbons while also taking in our dinosaurs! Our full-size Brachiosaurus was the star of the show and could be seen from the bridge nearby!
Our trip to the AZA conference in Columbus was an extraordinary adventure that brought us closer to the world of zoos, aquariums, and the incredible animals they care for. It's reassuring to know that the AZA community is dedicated to the well-being of animals and the preservation of our planet's precious ecosystems. Through their tireless efforts, they inspire us all to take action and protect the natural world for generations to come. We are excited to continue to partner with zoos and aquariums across the world to help their missions succeed!
